Decentralised ventilation SEVi 160U - reveal variant
The SEVi 160U (undercover) external closure is visually inconspicuous in the window reveal. The air inlet and outlet of the SEVi 160U decentralised ventilation system is hidden in the window reveal. Ideal for protected facades, e.g. in the area of monument renovation. Depending on the configuration, higher values (up to 60 dB) for external sound insulation can be achieved. The SEVi 160 Undercover – standard variant (decentralised ventilation SEVi 160U) consists of a fixed pipe (Ø = 160 mm) made of PPs (polypropylene) flame retardant, for installation of the ventilation system in properties with various wall thicknesses from 340 mm. The ventilation system is fixed in the PPs pipe. It consists of an EPP (expanded polypropylene) casing. This material has a strong sound-absorbing and insulating effect.
An extremely quiet reversible high-performance fan from Papst operates in the housing. This fan has been optimised for both running directions for the first time. A high-tech ceramic (specific heat capacity 877 J/kgK) is implemented as the heat exchanger. The specially designed facade closure with wind protection function prevents water from entering the ventilation system. In addition, a dust filter (optional pollen and active climate filter) is inserted into the system for protection against external influences. (The filters of the SEVi 160U decentralised ventilation system are very easy to change).
